How to Use the Program Directory
The Youth Programs Directory is run by the New Orleans Youth Alliance and partners. It's the main place to find live youth opportunities in New Orleans.
Search for internships, jobs, training, and programs that match your interests and schedule.
- Search by what you're looking for or where you are
- Filter by your age, what type of opportunity, or when it happens
- Check the calendar to see what's coming up
Look for programs that offer safe spaces, help with school, jobs, arts, and more.
- Search by age and neighborhood
- Check the calendar for programs and events
- Share opportunities with other families
Make sure young people and partners can find your program.
- Add or update your program listing
- Post new opportunities when they start
- Connect with other programs you find
Use the directory with the Youth Data Hub dashboards to see where programs are and who they serve.
- See which neighborhoods have many or few programs
- Connect program locations to youth data and outcomes
- Find gaps and places to invest together
How This Connects to the Youth Data Hub
The Youth Programs Directory is a key part of the Youth Data Hub. Over time, we'll connect program data to other Hub views so we can see not just who is being served, but also where and how.
These tools can help answer questions like:
- Where are most youth programs located, and which neighborhoods need more?
- How does program availability match up with where young people live?
- Where are there lots of programs, and where do we need to invest more?
How they connect:
In the future, the Youth Data Hub will use program data to show where programs are by neighborhood, age group, and type, along with funding and youth outcomes.
